Grounded 2 launched on PS5 on August 11, 2026, the same day the Into the Abyss update went live on every platform. Obsidian’s game director called the PlayStation launch a “second launch” for the game.

What the PS5 launch includes
The PS5 version launches with the full Into the Abyss update, including the underwater pond world, the Mountains and Bayou regions, and the amphibious Toe-biter Buggy. The PlayStation Store version supports Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese and English.
Is it on PS4?
No. Grounded 2’s PlayStation release is PS5-only. No PS4 version has been announced — treat any claims otherwise as speculation.
